His political career began when he was elected alderman of Greeneville in 1829, and five years later he became the small town's mayor. While still in his teens, Johnson moved with his family to Tennessee, settled in Greeneville, and married a shoemaker's daughter named Eliza McCardle. When you run through all the dialogue topics of the Novelty Dicemaker, you'll learn just how cursed the commercial area is. You'll be able to enter the woman's room, and she is known as the Novelty Dicemaker. A metal security curtain had blocked your way from there, but if you shouted into the furnace and succeeded the check, the steel curtain will be open. You'll find a hallway that bends northeast. Then, go directly southeast from the doorway. Once the check succeeds, go back upstairs to the previous dark hallway. Check it out, then be sure to smear yourself with coal and soot before attempting to shout up into it. To the right of the bear, you'll find a large metal furnace with an open door. Take this down and you'll be in a basement with a giant bear with red glowing eyes. Once you're through the entire darkened hallways, you'll find a door to the left on the back wall. This includes a Production Schedule filament in a computer which affects the Help ravers start a nightclub side quest. Be sure to hold Tab through this area, as there are a few containers and quest-based items around. Head up the stairs just left to reach a dark, dusty labyrinth of hallways. The first room you come to is an abandoned gym. You'll need your flashlight to see around. Pass through the curtains, then enter the door behind them.
